Another Strong Storm Hits Springfield

The Springfield Fire Company had another busy 24 hours, due to strong storms that rolled through Springfield.  Firefighters responded to 18 calls that started around 11pm on Monday, October 11th and continued into the day on Tuesday, October 12th.

Strong winds and heavy rain moved thru a very isolated area of Delaware County and seemed mostly concentrated on the central portion of Springfield Township.  The nature of the emergencies ranged from wires down to trees in houses.  No injuries were reported from the storms, but some homes sustained moderate damage from the downed trees.
