Assist to Broomall on Fatal Accident

The Springfield Fire Company was dispatch at 1705 hours on Sunday, September 5th, to assist with the LZ (Landing Zone) at The Russell Elementry School at 2201 Sproul Road, Broomall.

Broomall Fire Company (Company 53) and Marple Township EMS were working at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Springfield Road. and Sproul Road (Route 320).  The one injured victom of the accident was transported to the LZ and flown to the University of Pennsylvania's Trama Center. Squad 44 under the direction of Chief 44-9B set up the LZ.  Company 44 was back in service at 1750 Hrs.
