MVA with Entrapment on Baltimore Pike

On Monday, August 2, Springfield Firefighters were alerted to the 400 Block of Baltimore Pike for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries.  Chief 44-9 (Woolson) arrived on location and found a two vehicle accident blocking traffic with the driver's side door hit on one vehicle.  Firefighters riding on Squad 44 stabilized the vehicle, accessed the driver's side door using the Holmatro rescue tools and extricated the driver, with the crew from Ambulance 44-7 and Medic 106 providing patient care.
