Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Sunday, July 25th, at 1557 hours on the 2nd Alarm assignment to assist Lansdowne Fire Company (Company 19) on a Working Apartment Fire at the Wildman Arms Condos, 80 West Baltimore Pike, in Lansdowne Borough.  Firefighters on the initial alarm were confronted with residents of the building being trapped on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of the 7 story mid-rise condominium building due to smoke conditions from a fire in an apartment on the third floor.  Multiple companies assisted in the evacuation on the building while firefighters worked to contain the fire on the fourth floor and check for any possible fire extension.

Firefighters from Rescue 44 staged all the RIT equipment and stood by on the fireground.

Companies operationing on the scene were: Company 19. Company 20 (Garrettford-Drexel Hill), Company  03 (Clifton Heights), Company 04 (Darby #1), Company 24 (East Lansdowne), Company 16 (Yeadon), Company 22 (Millbourne)  and RIT Teams from Company 44.
