Accident with Entrapment on I-476

| On Saturday, Juily 9th, Company 44, 53 (Broomall) and EMS units were dispatched to I-476 Southbound at Lawrence Road Overpass for a Motor Vehicle Accident with possible Entrapment.
Chief 44-9A arrived on location and reported a 3 vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer with confirmed entrapment. Chief 44-9A established I-476 Command and had rescue personnel from Rescue 53 (Broomall) stabilize the vehicle and begin extrication with assistance from Squad 44.
Units operating on scene were Rescue 53, Squad 44, Rescue 44, Ambulance 53-7 & 53-7A, Medic 53, Ambulance 44-7, Medic106 and State Police.
