Car Into a Tree on State Road
Springfield Fire Company responded on Wednesday, July 8th, at 18:53 hours, to a Motor Vehicle Accident in the 200 Block of North State Road (Route 1).  Upon arrival of Chief 44-9B and Springfield Police, there was a single vehicle accident involving a car striking a tree near the Rolling Green Apartments (257 North State Road).

Engine 44-4 arrived on location and secured all hazards on the scene while EMS personnel from Ambulance 44-7 and Medic 106 evaluated the driver.  Ambulance 44-7 transported the injured driver to Springfield Hospital.

Firefighters remained on the scene until 19:23 hours.
