Memorial Day Parade 2008
Springfield Fire Company participated in the annual Springfield Township Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26th, 2008.  The parade is hosted by Springfield VFW Post #5705.  The parade pays tribute to Veterans past and present.  Memorial services are held at Veteran's Memorial Park, St. Francis of Assisi, Old Central School and Springfield's Township Building during the parade to recognize the Memorial's honoring Springfield Township residents who gave the supreme sacrifice while serving our country.

Springfield Fire Company participated with TAC 44, Utility 44, Engine 44-1, Rescue 44 and Tower 44.  Springfield Fire Police assisted with traffic control during the parade.

Springfield Fire Company would like thank all our serve men and women, especially Firefighter Tim English and Sean Getz who are currently serving as United States Marines, and all those who gave of the lives in the name of Freedom.
