Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Monday, May 26th, at 21:38 hours to the 100 block of Baltimore Pike for a Sign Fire. Upon arrival of Lieutenant 44-13B and Springfield Police, there was a sign well involved in fire in front of the Domino's Pizza store.
Engine 44-1 arrived on location and strecthed a precautionary hose line. Firefighter used a dry chemical extinguisher to control the fire and stood by until PECO Energy arrived on location and secured electric to the sign.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 22:23 hours.
