Wrong Way on the Driveway


Springfield Firefighters were alerted to a Vehicle on the Septa Trolley Tracks on Thursday, May 13th, at 1147 hours.  The initial reports were stating that the occupants of the vehicle were trapped inside.  Upon arrival of initial personnel from Springfield Fire Company and the Police Department, there was a vehicle that had traveled in the wrong direction on a driveway in the 300 block of South Rolling Road and ended up on the embankment to the Septa Route 101 Trolley Line.

Firefighters from Squad 44 assisted with removing the occupants from the vehicle using a Ladder.  EMS personnel evaluated both occupants.

Firefighters stood by on the scene until the vehicle was removed from the embankment.

Units operating on the scene were:  Squad 44, Rescue 44, Ambulance 44-7, Medic 106, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
