Four Firefighters Complete Firefighter I Certfication

Congratulations to firefighters David Thomas, Sean Devlin, Paul McGonigal and Colin Kellar on the completion of the Essentials of Firefighting Class and for receiving the Firefighter Level One Cerification. The members completed the training at Delaware County's Emergency Services Training Center.
The Essentials of Firefighting Class is over 160 hours of basic training in firefighting, hazardous materials, basic first aid and CPR emergenices.
Once the members receive their certification from the State of Pennsylvania, they can have the certification recognized nationally thru the National Pro Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications.
