Heater Fire at the Health Plex

| Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to the Springfield Health Plex, 196 West Sproul Road, on Wednesday, May 4th, for a report of Smoke in the Building. Upon arrival of 44-9 & 44-9A, a report was given of a heater fire in the pool utility area. Firefighters secured the hazards and ventilated the building. The incident was placed under control and companies remained on scene for 1 hour. Units operating on scene with Company 44 were: Company 14 (Swarthmore), Company 23 (Media), Company 53 (Broomall), Company 65 (Garden City), Ambulance 44-7, Medic 106, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
