3 Vehicle Accident on Baltimore Pike

On Tuesday, April 12th, at 2006 hours, Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to the 1100 Block of Baltimore Pike for a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries.  County 911 advised responding units that there were 2 unconscious subjects inside the vehicles.  Chief 44-9A arrived on the scene and had a 3 vehicle accident with 4 injuries.

Firefighters from Squad 44 and Rescue 44 arrived and assisted EMS personnel with patient care and scene safety.  Utility 44 assisted with traffic control.

Units operating on the scene were:  Squad 44, Rescue 44, Utility 44, Ambulance 44-7 & 44-7A, Medic 106 (Springfield Hospital), Medic 75-7 (Briarcliffe) and Springfield Police.

Firefighters remained on the scene until 2051 hours.
