Assist Morton-Rutledge on a Porch Fire

Springfield Fire Company was dispatched at 1605 hours on Sunday, February 19th, to assist Company 13 (Morton-Rutledge) to the unit block of Walnut Street, Morton Borough, for a Building Fire involving the front porch of the dwelling.

Chief 13-9 arrived on location reporting a fire under the front porch.  Firefighters from Company 13, 44 & 14 (Swarthmore) worked together to bring the fire quickly under control.

Companies operating on scene were: Company 13, Company 44, Company 14, Morton Police, Springfield Police and Sixth District Fire Police.
