| Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Powell Road and Brock Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries at 1518 hours on Friday, February 17th. Chief 44-9 arrived on location, reporting a two vehicle accident with no entrapment.
Squad 44 arrived on location and assisted EMS with patient care and securing all hazards on the scene. Utility 44 arrived on location and assisted with oil dry for fluids on the roadway.
Units Operating on scene: Squad 44, Utility 44, Ambulance 44-7, Ambulance 03-7 (Clifton Heights), Medic 106 (Springfield Hospital), Springfield Police and Fire Police.
While units were operating at this emergency, Company 44 was dispatched on another call by County Fire Board to I476 N.B. @ Mile Marker 5.0 to assist Company 53 (Broomall) for a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a tractor trailer and an SUV. Chief 44-9 arrived on location reporting no injuries and recalled responding units. The incident was turned over to PA State Police and PennDOT.
Company 44 was available from both incidents at 1630 hours.
