Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to assist Clifton Heights Fire Company (Company 03) on Friday, Janaury 4th, at 16:14 hours, at 4 Rockbourne Road for a Building Fire. The building was once the old Drexel Hill Furniture warehouse that is currently being renovated. Construction workers on location damaged some electrical wires outside the building which started numerous fires inside and outside the building.

Firefighters from Company 03 and Company 74 (Primos Secane) worked to contain the fires while PECO Energy company was contacted to shut down the power in the area. Firefighters from Company 44, Company 19 (Lansdowne), Company 20 (Garrettford-Drexel Hill) and Comapny 16-RIT (Yeadon) stood by on the scene.
Once firefighters had the fires under control, firefighters from Company 03 and Company 74 stood by on the scene until PECO secured the power. Company 44 relocated to Station 03 to provide stand by coverage until the incident was under control.
